Hey loves! It’s no secret that I follow an extremely non-toxic & holistic lifestyle from hair to toe. When it comes to skincare & makeup, I only use non-toxic and/or plant-based products.
One of my favorite plant-based beauty brands is 100% Pure Cosmetics and Skincare. Their products are vegan, certified organic and use only good for you ingredients. I ordered their Coconut Oil Body Scrub during a holiday sale a few years ago and was blown away! I recently decided I’d give their facial skincare & makeup products a try to see how they hold up.
1st up is 100% Pure’s Coffee Bean Eye Cream. 
I don’t suffer from dark circles but I do have extremely puffy eyes with smile lines. I’ve been dealing with increased puffiness since giving birth to my second son back in September. I bought an eye cream a few months back but saw no improvement. 
The 1st ingredient in this Coffee Bean Eye Cream is aloe, which is known to increase skin’s elasticity naturally. 2nd ingredient is moisturizing rose-water then rose hip oil. The magic ingredient in this vegan eye cream is caffeine rich green tea and coffee de-puffs and reduces swelling while increasing circulation to alleviate and brighten dark circles. After reading the reviews I knew I had to try it. All I can say is O..M..G! While it didn’t eliminate my puffiness off the bat, I did see a reduction almost instantly! I’m going to continue using over the next 30 days and I will give you another update then.
Next up is 100% Pure’s Cocoa Butter Semi-Matte Lipstick in Sandstone.
I love matte lipsticks but they can be so over drying within minutes of applying. I usually end up adding a hint of Vaseline or Almond oil to my lips to prevent that dreaded dry, cracked look. This lipstick eliminated all that for me!
Remember, skincare & food ingredients are listed by order of concentration (highest to lowest). Check this out, the 1st ingredient is raw cocoa butter! 2nd is raw shea butter, 3rd is cherry, then plum..I can do this all day but I’ll let you see for yourself..lol. My lips were very moisturized and the color matched my skin tone perfectly! What I loved the most is that I didn’t have to reapply my lipstick since there was no dryness (double win!). There’s a total of 10 shades in this collection including Tempest, Blood Orange, Cactus Bloom and more!
Last is 100% Pure’s Maracuja Mascara in Dark Chocolate. This is the PERFECT mascara for those with sensitive eyes like myself.
I love that this vegan mascara is colored from black tea leaves! There are no harmful dyes in this mascara at all. 🙂 Some of the conditioning ingredients include aloe, cocoa seed butter and maracuja seed oil. I can’t stand when mascaras have that chemical-like scent and make my lashes dry and clumpy. This mascara had a faint chocolate scent that smells divine! The brush helped to lengthen, separate and create just the right amount of curl & volume I wanted while looking fairly natural. 
It’s also water and smudge resistant! Random fact: I always forget I’m not wearing my glasses when I wear eye makeup. I end up rubbing my eyes and smearing the eye makeup!..lol. Am I the only one that does that? Safe to say this mascara held up! This was my 1st time using any mascara from 100% Pure and I’m definitely a fan!
